The Nordic RLS Study Group
- increasing disease awareness and supporting improvement of RLS management in the Nordic countries
The Nordic RLS Study Group was formed in 2002 by seven neurologists and sleep researchers from Denmark, Sweden and Norway with special interest in RLS. The group has later been completed by sleep specialists also from Finland. The Study Group acts as a knowledge bank by gathering current and future scientific advances and clinical experience and making it available.
The Study Group further supports an increase of RLS awareness among GPs and neurologists and the structuring of RLS management within the Nordic health care system.
